Contract Position

$40.59-$45.10/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Conduct learning needs assessments and define learning objectives for technical skill programs.

• Design, deliver, and evaluate instructor-led training for mechanical assembly and related topics.

• Proctor written and practical tests to validate trainee performance.

• Set up and maintain system access and training environments, including workstations, tools, and software.

• Provide real-time feedback, coaching, and mentoring in both classroom and production floor settings.

• Track training effectiveness and make continuous improvements using performance data and feedback.

• Demonstrate safe and proper use of hand tools, mechanical equipment, and precision measuring devices.

• Support and enforce company safety, quality, and procedural standards in all learning activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of related experience,(or Master’s + 4 years, or 10+ years of equivalent professional experience without a degree)

• 2+ years of aviation or mechanical background in assembly, maintenance, or production

• Experience training or instructing adult learners in a technical or manufacturing environment

• Strong communication and knowledge transfer skills

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain a structured classroom environment, and meet deadlines

• Demonstrated ability to use and teach hand tool techniques and mechanical assembly practices

• Excellent presentation and time management skills

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in aviation, aerospace, or DoD-regulated environments

  • Familiarity with technical documentation, work instructions, and manufacturing processes

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or training administration tools

  • Leadership experience in coaching or mentoring roles
