Let your career take flight by joining our diverse and vibrant team at the leading edge of passenger aviation.Reporting to the Manager Block and RAP Administration, the Crew Resource Planning Analyst will be responsible for the optimal planning of reserve availability periods (RAPs) for all pilots on reserve. . The position provides operational and system support to FOPs Crew Scheduling with a focus on RAP planning. This position plays a vital role in the success and the administration of pilot coverage requirements while adhering to contractual and regulatory obligations.
Responsibilities:Plan and assign monthly, weekly, and daily Reserve Availability Periods (RAPs) for pilots on all fleets and bases.On a daily basis, evaluate pilot crew coverage requirements and adjust pilot reserve availability periods as required.Provide effective and timely communication to pilots as it relates to scheduling or rescheduling of their RAPs.Collaborate with Crew Schedulers to strategically assign daily flying to reserve pilots, ensuring optimal utilization of reserve resources while adhering to contractual Best Fit provisions and maintaining effective RAP coverage across fleets and bases.Assign reserve schedules to newly qualified pilots, as well as those that are unblockable in PBS or are assigned a block out of seniority (BOS).Perform daily legality checks to ensure regulatory (CARs) and contractual (ALPA) compliance.Provide support to Block Administrators in the handling of various duties such as roster checks, pilot leaves of absences under Family Care, and ATLAS Grading.Provide Crew Scheduling management with risk assessment analysis for pilot reserve coverage.Participate in testing of new functionality in Crew Scheduling day of flight systems.Compile management information as required.Other duties as assigned.
QualificationsUniversity degree or equivalent experienceExperience dealing with a 24/7 operational environment.Ability and willingness to work shift workAbility to produce and provide reports as required in relation to planning activities.Understanding of crew scheduling practices within a global airline.Works well with team members and promotes collaboration within a team setting.Accurately prepares written business correspondence that is coherent and effective.Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Netline Crew, ReportLink, IADP, and globe information system.Demonstrates the ability to cooperate with a variety of people and achieve results.Proactively seeks opportunities to broaden and deepen knowledge base and proficiencies.Flexible and willing to work extended hours as required.Self-starter, task oriented.
