Proposal/Pricing Analyst Lead - Level 5

As Lead Pricer for the F-35 Sustainment Estimating Team, selected candidate will be responsible for leading, developing, analyzing, and reviewing Sustainment estimates for F-35 proposals and providing pricing expertise to all F-35 Estimating and Pricing team members. The selected candidate must be a pricing subject matter expert with extensive background in pricing build up associated with defense industry proposals. Will be responsible for developing and leading FAR/TINA/CAS compliant proposal estimates for Initial Stand up of operating bases and depots, Spares procurement and recurring operations of Sustainment activities including the fact-finding, negotiations, and budgeting processes. Additionally, selected candidate will lead integration efforts with other LM business area estimating groups to optimize communication and collaboration. Selected candidate will interface with Sustainment stakeholders including all levels of management and government program office counterparts; prepare briefing materials and present estimating work products; and oversee optimization of team work process, training material and continuous improvement efforts. Selected candidate will be expected to mentor less experienced estimators to drive organizational growth and skillset buildup.

A level 5 employee Typically has 14 - 20 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education

- Experience in Cost Estimating

- Experience using proposal pricing systems such as, APTS, PCTOPS, PROPRICER or BOE tool usage

- Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Truth In Negotiations Act (TINA), and/or Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)

- Expertise in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel spreadsheets

- Experience coordinating complex projects with changing requirements

- Experience with leading pricing activities, collaborate effectively with peers and communicate appropriately with leadership

- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Desired Skills:
- Advanced Excel skills

- High attention to detail and ability to work with a large volume of data

- Experience in Tableau
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $106,100 - $187,105. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
