Arconic is currently in search of a Quality Systems Administrator to join our Davenport Works Manufacturing Plant based in our Davenport, IA location.

Job Summary:
The Quality Systems Administrator (QSA) will provide a wide variety of quality and process-related activities including supporting production goals and quality goals as well as assisting with the facilitation of problem-solving activities for the Plate Mill Department at Davenport Works
The QSA reports to the Lead Area Manager (LAM) and works daytime hours Monday through Friday between 7am-5pm.
In this role, you will:
- Act as the Local Area Network Manager – assisting new employees with ordering / obtaining access to necessary hardware and software.
- Support plant-wide audit as a member of the internal audit team.
- Assists external auditors with information requests and corrective actions as needed.
- Order new and re-calibrated tools for the department and track in through internal system.
- Update and manage departmental website.
- Schedule overtime assignments for hourly employees.
- Manage the department’s document control system, ensuring that documents are accurate and up-to-date.
- Administer the department’s electronic training records system, ensuring training gaps are identified and addressed.
- Understand and implement procedures to comply with Davenport Works Business Quality Plans.
- Provide salaried and hourly training presentations for Quality Systems components for new employees.
- Act as resource or subject matter expert for problem solving initiatives in conjunction with processes.
- Serve as department point of contact for claims administrator and investigate claims to determine responsible individuals.
- Other duties as assigned.
You have:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or manufacturing environment.
- Microsoft Office knowledge especially in Word and Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Authorizations from the relevant government agency may be required to meet export control compliance requirements.
Exceptional Candidates possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Management from an accredited institution.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Access) and MS Outlook.
- Ability to multi-task and interpret, analyze and compile data in a user-friendly format.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
