Job Description:
Job Purpose

To develop and implement innovative HR - Rewards & Benefits solutions to attract, retain, and motivate top talent, aligning with Air Arabias business strategy; Enhance efficiency, support changes, and optimize workforce performance through effective compensation, benefits, and recognition programs. To support implementation of HR projects, initiatives, and changes across all business entities.

Key Result Responsibilities

1.    Recommend and implement HR practices, job designs, compensation & benefits packages, and reward & recognition programs. Ensure these initiatives comply with regulations and align with business strategy.

2.    Analyze spanet data and benchspan compensation & benefits packages to ensure Air Arabia offers competitive and attractive employee packages. Work with HR teams to gather and interpret salary and benefits trends. 

3.    Conduct thorough research to stay current on salary trends, benefits offerings, recognition program structures, and best practices in the industry. Review proposals from HR teams and provide feedback to ensure alignment with compensation strategy and spanet standards.

4.    Design and implement recognition programs in collaboration with HR teams and department heads. Ensure these programs meet business needs and motivate employees.

5.    Prepare, analyze, and present data to support effective reward & recognition strategies, program revisions, and future planning.

6.    Implement and maintain systems for job creation, job evaluation, grading, organizational structure design, and related changes. Manage & update job descriptions to reflect business restructuring.

7.    Clearly explain compensation and benefits packages to employees, answer questions and provide guidance.

8.    Contribute to HR projects related to compensation and benefits, such as pay review, bonus, insurance renewals, or new program implementations

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or Human Sciences/ Management or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • MBA or Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) qualification or HR Professional qualifications and certificates are an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: business writing, presentations, public speaking, reporting, etc.
Work Experience
  • 5+ years experience in areas of rewards & recognition, compensation & benefits, preferably in the aviation or hospitality industry,
  • Overall, 8 - 10+ years of experience in Human Resources is a plus
  • Working knowledge and experience of implementing Korn Ferry Hay job evaluation methodology
  • HRIS systems such as Oracle, SAP Success Factors, and similar are considered a plus. 
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) 
  • In-depth knowledge of various HR functions and their processes.
  • Strong analytical and time-management skills.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with stakeholders through effective interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data management and resource utilization.
  • Trustworthy, confidential, and dedicated to ensuring company compliance.
