- Responsible for assessing material and component requirements as required by Operations and MRP Need Date.
- Review of Engineering Change Notices, understand the effect of changes to the supply of purchased parts.
- Request quotations for parts affected with Change Notices and interpret any price changes relating to the difference from previous revisions.
- Process data change requests and forms in the system including but not limited to Winshuttle Process, lead time review, MRP Controller set-up, transport lead times, and requesting cost roll.
- Expedite, align and negotiate material and component delivery dates to support operations need dates.
- Communicate potential risks at the earliest possible time and recommend mitigating activities to support alignment to material need date.
- Create and review Action Requests (Ars) assigned to Supply Chain and process accordingly.
- Perform material movements as needed, liaise with MRB team members and supply chain on actions needed.
- Upon AR analysis, provide feedback to MRB team related AR dispositions when needed.
- Consolidate and report out Supply Chain KPIs.
- Other functions that may be assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- CIB and MRB Focal for Supply Chain
- Material and Data Set-up, Winshuttle and Change.
- Issues resolution including but not limited to AR, Grief, invoice to PO mismatch, and PDVs.
- Lead Improvements and root cause analysis.
- Lead sourcing, Work Transfer and Rapid Response
Educational Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering discipline or equivalent.
Knowledge / Experience
- Experience as Buyer, Purchaser, Expediter or equivalent.
- Experience in start-up environment.
- TCO, MOQ vs Piece Price comparison, work transfer or equivalent
- Proficient in ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent
Technical Skills / Competencies
- Able to read detailed drawings and CAD model.
- Able to understand product specifications of components and materials.
- Able to use inspection tools, (Vernier, Height Gauges, Micrometers, CMM (manual).
- Understanding the general aviation standards and internal procedures including but not limited to BE PUR 7.4.3 Appendix B-SPG, AS9102, EASA Part 21G.
- Understanding the use of Material Resource Planning system or equivalent.
- Above average written, verbal and computer skills.
- Team player and demonstrated attention to detail.
- Root cause analysis tools (3C, 8D, DIVE) or equivalent.
