Job Summary:Skilled Avionics Technician with experience in inspecting, repairing, and servicing aircraft avionics and electrical systems. Proficient in reading engineering drawings, documenting work per FAA regulations, and operating ground support and industrial equipment. Strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and quality maintenance practices. Education and Job Qualifications
* Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* You have an Avionics/Electrical aircraft Technical schoolOR a Substantiated Equivalent such as:
* FCC/GROL License
* NCATT/AET Certification
* FAA A&P License
* Military qualifications Job Duties and Skills
* Adhere to general work requirements
* Repair, modify, and service aircraft avionics, electrical, and electronic equipment with limited supervision
* Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form
* Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
* Operate ground support equipment
* Ability to operate industrial vehicles and equipment (scissor/boom lift, forklift, etc.)
* Comply with environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures. Participate in 5-S activities. Perform work in a safe and timely manner
* Own and maintain hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory and control of tools. Read and understand electrical engineering drawings
* Perform aircraft inspections with appropriate oversight
* Basic PC skills
