Precision Heli-Support is looking for an Avionics Technician Lead to support aircraft maintenance and modification projects at our location in Mesa, AZ. The successful candidate will have the ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performs installation and troubleshooting of various aircraft electrical /avionics systems to include control, power, video, RF cables and electrical harnesses on aircraft.
- Performs aircraft electrical/ avionics system testing to include continuity, power and operational checks using test equipment both on the aircraft and on back shop test benches.
- Performs two year IFR 91.411 and 91.413 checks.
- Use basic hand tools and avionics specialty tools. Read, interpret, and supports development of electrical fabrication and installation drawings.
- Assist in providing technical guidance and training to other technicians.
- Work Closely with supervisor to manager priorities and workflow.
- Interface with equipment manufacturers and material suppliers.
