Avionics Warehouse AssociateJob Description
- The Avionics Warehouse Associate will be responsible for key warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and warehousing. This role involves inspecting parts to ensure incoming materials are properly reviewed for general condition, correct documentation, and appropriate shelf lives.
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming parts and materials for general condition and proper documentation.
- Manage quality control processes for inventory.
- Conduct shipping and receiving operations efficiently.
- Perform inventory management including cycle counting.
- Utilize computer skills for warehouse operations.
- Move material within the warehouse.
- Operate forklift for picking and packing tasks.
- Maintain warehouse inventory using SAP system.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in aviation or related inspection in the aviation industry.
- Organizational skills and self-motivation.
- Attention to detail and strong people skills.
- Experienced in aviation receiving quality inspection duties.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with SAP system is advantageous.
- Experience with warehouse inventory management.
- Aviation logistics experience is a plus
Work Environment
This role will be based in the back of a hangar within a warehouse that is not climate-controlled. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with some flexibility required for overtime if needed.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
