Advanced Systems Engineer job in Scottsdale, Arizona is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Aerospace/Defense company. In this job you will contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and space.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customers, mission partners, and key stakeholders to translate requirements into robust system designs within a fast-moving timeline
- Decompose end-to-end system requirements into architecture, design, interfaces, and test cases
- Coordinate with developers, integration and test teams to ensure component development meets system mission needs
Qualifications:
- U.S. citizen with active Department of Defense Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or related STEM and 5+ years of job-related experience, or Masters degree and 3+ years of job-related experience
- Ground system design, Tracking mission design, Satellite communications, Ground to Satellite communications, System/Software design for cloud-based microservice architecture
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience decomposing the high-level space-ground systems design into ground software/systems design
- Experience with MBSE methodologies and tools such as, CAMEO or MagicDraw
- Familiar with programming languages such as Java, Python, and MATLAB, including for software developer coordination, system analysis, prototype algorithm development, or modeling
- Background in simulation and modeling analysis with tools like STK, particularly in aerospace applications a plus
