JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities
Plan and implement calibration schedules of M&TEs
Collaborate with external calibration provider and M&TE owner on the onsite and offsite calibration schedules. Assist and support calibration provider during onsite calibration.
Check and Analyze Certificate of Calibration from external provider. Ensure that all calibration activities adhere to ISO 17025, AS9100 or other relevant standards.
Raise purchase request for external calibration
Perform assessment on the new M&TEs for registration.
Maintain calibration standards and good laboratory practices.
Maintain detailed records of calibration activities for audits and compliance.
Implement M&TE management as per procedure.
Recommended improvements to calibration methods and equipment
Check verification report done by Calibration Technician. Train technicians in calibration procedures and best practices.
Adheres to participate in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
Proven experience in calibration or metrology
Strong understanding of measurement principles and instrumentation
Familiarity with calibration standards
Proficiency in tools such as micrometers, calipers, oscilloscope, and multimeters
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong documentation and communication abilities both internal and external.
