The Opportunity
We are a seeking talented Graduate Production Engineers to join the Boeing Defence Australia Graduate Program at Wellcamp Airport, Toowoomba. This program offers graduates a permanent full-time position, providing a solid career foundation from day one.
Boeing is taking another bold step in aerospace and advanced manufacturing. MQ28 is the first military aircraft to be designed, engineered and manufactured in Australia in more than 50 years. This unmanned teaming aircraft is Boeings first military aircraft to be designed and developed outside the U.S and uses artificial intelligence to extend the capabilities of manned and unmanned platforms. This cutting-edge project is aiming to unlock global defence and aerospace opportunities for Boeing and Queensland.
The Boeing MQ-28 Ghost Bat is a globally-significant program that will deliver a disruptive advantage to support Defence operational capabilities. As we continue to accelerate the development program, and expand the aircraft flight envelope through the test program, we are seeking the very best talent from a range of backgrounds to help grow and contribute to our innovative team.
As aGraduate Production Engineer you will join our team supporting the cutting edge MQ-28 Ghost Bat program. In this role you will:
- Support the establishment and ongoing execution of the future full rate MQ28 production facility.
- Participate in refining the production system design for the composite fabrication and aircraft assembly.
- Facilitate and implement manufacturing plans and related work instructions.
- Validate and ensure production readiness of solutions to complex problems.
- Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions.
- Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies.
- Conduct investigations on manufacturing processes to identify root cause of defects, propose and lead corrective action projects.
- Contributes to the build and compliance reporting to ensure the production products conform to the product design.
- Communicate and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team in a conscientious and inclusive way to successfully deliver innovative solutions to the Australian Defence Force.

Education
Tertiary degree qualification in an engineering, computer science or information technology (or anticipated graduation before July 2025)
Eligibility
Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.
