Contract Position
Pay Estimated: $49.23-$54.23/Hour
This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors, (geographical location, etc.)
Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance
Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
Design and layout printed circuit boards (PCBs) using Mentor Graphics Xpedition and related tools for mission-critical electronics.
Participate in library management, part creation, and 3D model integration using Footprint Expert, SolidWorks, NX, or CREO.
Contribute to schematic capture, bill of materials (BOM) creation, and generation of fabrication and assembly documentation (e.g., ODB++ packages, 3D models).
Ensure designs comply with IPC and industry manufacturing standards.
Support hands-on prototyping, design verification, and communication with fabrication suppliers to resolve design documentation questions.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
Associate’s degree or equivalent.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in CCA or PCB design.
Eligible for DoD Secret Clearance (current clearance preferred, but not required).
Minimum of 2 years’ experience using Mentor Graphics Xpedition.
Experience with ECAD/PCB layout, library management, and supply chain coordination.
Working knowledge of CCA fabrication techniques and industry standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Mentor Graphics tools: Xpedition, xDM, BoardStation, DXdatabook, Hyperlynx.
Familiarity with Altium Designer.
Experience with schematic capture, 3D mechanical modeling, and digital documentation workflows.
Knowledge of Hyperlynx for signal integrity or power integrity analysis.
