The Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions (PGSS) Product Line is seeking a uniquely qualified and motivated individual to join our team and support programs such as the Advanced Precision Kill Weapons System (APKWS) and the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program. This individual will be responsible for integrating test hardware and SW development / support of test stands for our production line.

As a SW Systems Test Solutions engineer for PGSS, responsibilities of the job will include but not be limited to:

Develop software for product test applications
Focus on continuous improvement opportunities for the test processes

Job Requirements:

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Strong background in ‘C’ code software development for PC based test and measurement applications and recent experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (preferred) or Electrical Engineering with 6 years of applicable experience
Minimum of 3 years in product testing, test engineering, or a related field
Experience with large software programs using NI LabWindows CVI, NI TestStand or C++ (10,000 Lines of code or more)
Ability to Troubleshoot System Software/Hardware Problems
Familiarity with Revision Control systems such as GIT or ClearCase
Advanced circuit analysis skills to support troubleshooting and diagnosing issues
Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Experience with VXI or other concurrent instrumentation
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail
Experience in US defense industry manufacturing operations is highly desirable for this position
Experience with Lean Systems and/or Six Sigma, continuous improvements, 5S and meeting compliance requirements

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
