Target salary range: $90,000 - $120,000.00

Active Secret Clearance Required to Start
Responsibilities:
Perform systems engineering and hardware analysis, including requirements decomposition, hardware-to-software interface definition, and fault analysis.
Develop and execute Test Plans and Test Procedures for hardware systems in accordance with DoD standards.
Conduct and support Environmental Qualification Testing (EQT) using MIL-STD-810, EMI (MIL-STD-461), E3 (MIL-STD-464), and HEMP (MIL-STD-188-125) protocols.
Lead hardware fault detection and isolation activities to ensure robust field reliability.
Provide technical documentation and clearly communicate system performance, risks, and design recommendations.
Engage in Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) planning in accordance with MIL-HDBK-344.
Support interface alignment between Active Electronically Scanned Arrays (AESA) and system hardware.
Collaborate across disciplines to ensure cohesive integration between software, hardware, and test functions.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Active Secret Clearance required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field with 5+ years of experience, or Master’s with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ year.
Experience with:
Developing Test Plans and Procedures for DoD hardware systems.
MIL-STD-810 for EQT and hardware qualification.
AESA radar systems or subsystems.
Designing/testing for EMI (MIL-STD-461), E3 (MIL-STD-464), and HEMP (MIL-STD-188-125-1/2).
Planning or execution of Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) under MIL-HDBK-344.
Final bullet: On-site presence required; occasional travel may be needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in Missile Defense programs, specifically GMD.
Experience with DOORS, Atlassian tools, and Agile frameworks.
Familiarity with:
Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using Cameo.
Automated software requirements testing.
Software containerization, orchestration, and DevSecOps practices.
Experience serving as a Product Owner or similar leadership roles in agile systems development.
