UnspecifiedWhat You Will Do
- Support engine testing activities in the test cell, including pre-test setup, execution, and post-test data analysis.
- Ensure test procedures comply with OEM specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and troubleshoot performance deviations and work with maintenance and Powerplant engineer to resolve root causes.
- Establish test cell equipment and instrumentation calibration requirements and work with facilities engineers to ensure maintenance requirements are in accordance with standards.
- Support test correlation, verification, and validation activities with OEMs and internal engineering teams.
- Assist in the development and continuous improvement of test procedures, documentation, and reporting tools.
- Participate in incident investigations, non-conformance reporting, and corrective actions related to test cell activities.
- Perform engine test performance and build analysis to improve engine build standards.
- Lead improvement projects to enhance engine build standard and improve engine test performance in collaboration with powerplant and process engineers.
- Support training of technicians on test procedures and safety protocols.
- Adhere to and promote EH&S (Environmental, Health, and Safety) guidelines in all test operations.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in gas turbine engine testing or performance engineering in MRO or OEM environment. Candidates with a minimum of 5 years of advanced engine experience can be considered for Senior Engineer role.
- Strong understanding of gas turbine engine operation and performance parameters.
- Hands-on experience with test cell systems, instrumentation, and data acquisition tools.
- Proficient in engine performance analysis tools and software.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience leading troubleshooting and investigations in aero-engine repair.
- Knowledge in aero-engine assembly.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-precision environment.
- Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies.
