WIZZ Management Trainee - Maintenance and Engineering

About the Maintenance and Engineering Department
Engineering and Maintenance Department is responsible for the management of the continuing airworthiness of Wizz Air aircraft by ensuring that the aircraft is maintained in accordance with the applicable regulation, as per approved maintenance program, using the appropriate tools and approved parts, by the certified person.
Your Responsibilities
✈️ Airworthiness Assurance: Ensure that all Wizz Air aircraft meet airworthiness standards and regulatory requirements.
🔧 Reliability Improvement: Implement strategies to enhance the reliability and performance of our fleet.
🛠️ Maintenance Oversight: Supervise the maintenance organizations responsible for servicing Wizz Air aircraft, ensuring adherence to standards.
📈 Project Participation: Engage in various projects, including reliability improvement initiatives, audits, aircraft phase-in and phase-out processes, and digitalization efforts
📂 Documentation Collection: Gather and organize aircraft technical documents to support airworthiness reviews, audits, and lessor requirements.
📊 Delay & Utilization Reporting: Assist in compiling technical delay reports and monthly fleet utilization summaries to support operational transparency and planning.
🤝 Engineering Support: Provide assistance to the engineering team with seasonal projects and ongoing technical tasks.
What We’re Looking For
✔️ Fluent in English
✔️ Currently enrolled at a Hungarian university with active student status for at least one more year
✔️ Graduating within two years
✔️ Available to work at least 20 hours per week
✔️ Strong MS Office knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint)
✔️ Previous traineeship experience is a plus
✔️ Interest in commercial strategy, pricing, and aviation
✔️ Analytical mindset with attention to detail
✔️ A team player with a "work hard, play hard" approach
✔️ Ambitious, eager to learn and grow, and looking at Wizz Air as a career opportunity
