Position Summary

Coordinate and maintain various reporting systems to effectively measure and analyze financial performance. Participates in the development of financial data, budgets, forecasts and special reports for management. Involved with a wide range of functional areas within the operation. Position reports to the Controller.

Essential Functions:

  • Review the plants’ capital appropriation requests and verifying proper support and justification is included.
  • Assist in the monthly closing by reviewing and preparing various entries for departmental charges.
  • Coordinate all Division office SOX requirements and activities.
  • Participate in Airfoils plants account reconciliation review. The review will highlight any issues and ensure the Airfoils plants are adhering to policy.
  • Responsible for FCCS tasks including MRP tie out, intercompany tie out and manual loads.
  • Lead the Division wide Accounts Payable automation initiative. This will involve working with the plants and vendors.
  • Responsible for all intercompany activities including journal entries.
  • Backup for FP&A activities and tasks.
  • Lead the Accounts Receivable credits review for the division. Interact with customers to clear aged credits.
  • Serve as the backup to the cash application process for the Division.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for audits.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Thorough understanding of systems analysis and procedure methods.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with close attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information.

Desired Skills:

  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as in group/team settings.
  • Experience in Manufacturing Industry.

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in same or similar role.
