Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to support our Cary, NC regional business office. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Human Resources through a diverse range of projects that directly impact our key business objectives. You will work alongside our dedicated HR team, contributing to initiatives that enhance employee engagement and operational efficiency.
This role will be onsite in Cary, NC. We have ability to be flexible with class schedules.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition Support: Assist with recruitment efforts, including onboarding, retention strategies, and employee engagement initiatives.
- HR Activities Coordination: Help plan and coordinate various HR-related activities and events to promote a positive workplace culture.
- Continuous Improvement: Apply continuous improvement measures and methods to enhance HR service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Employee Relations: Maintain strong, positive employee relations by engaging with team members at all levels of the organization.
- Policy Communication: Develop a thorough understanding of Parker’s policies and procedures to effectively communicate guidelines and respond to employee inquiries.
- Additional Duties: Perform other job-related duties as assigned to support the HR team and organizational goals.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Qualifications:
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- HR Knowledge: Demonstrates a growing understanding of human resource principles and practices.
- Effective Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
- Customer Service Orientation: Ability to provide high-quality customer service through various communication channels (phone, email, and in-person).
- Adaptability: Experience in a fast-paced work environment, demonstrating initiative, independence, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Confidentiality: Capable of handling sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
