Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate Supply Chain Specialist (L2) to join and support the Supply Chain MRO Team (Maintenance, Repairs, and Overhaul) team based in Jacksonville, FL. The person selected to join our team will interface with several cross-functional customers and clients on a daily basis, both internally and externally, for the BGS Supply Chain requirements in support of MRO aircraft/structural repairs. Candidate will perform Supply Chain order execution, delivery management, and analyze data.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Jacksonville, FL
Position Responsibilities:

Analyzes post-production data and applies Supply Chain principles to optimize inventory management practices and procedures, reduce costs due to inventory surplus/shortages, and improve overall supply chain efficiency
Identifies and resolves customer supply chain management issues and discrepancies
Analyzes supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performs assessment of configuration change impact to supply support system
Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another area. This includes the ability to see and understand the inter-relationships between components of systems and plans, anticipate future events, and apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance.
Identifies Supply Chain alternatives to resolve obsolescence and unplanned emergent issues
Analyzes material location and initiates redistribution action
Enters, tracks, monitors and coordinates customer material and delivery requirements and customer orders
Processes documentation associated with repair items, warranty claims and material returned from customers
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management
1+ years of experience in Supply Chain Sourcing, Supplier Management, Supply Chain Planning and/or Production Control
1+ years of experience with organizing, planning, facilitating, and executing customer logistics
1+ years of experience working with forecasting, Supply Chain Software Systems, Supply Chain modeling & Simulation tools, and ERP Systems
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field; or equivalent work or military experience
1+ years of experience with Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SI&OP)
1+ years of experience working in Supply Chain, Logistics or Material Management Services (MMS)
Typical Education/Experience:
Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
