Job Title: Aircraft Assembler Job Description
As an Aircraft Technician, you will assemble, install, inspect, troubleshoot, and modify aircraft mechanical assemblies by interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, written and verbal assembly instructions, and test procedures from component level to full aircraft build. You will also be responsible for wire harness fabrication and installation, completing continuity checks, operational verifications, and troubleshooting various systems.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, inspect, troubleshoot, and modify aircraft mechanical assemblies.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications, and follow assembly instructions and test procedures.
- Perform basic wire harness fabrication and installation techniques.
- Complete continuity checks, operational verifications, and troubleshooting of various systems.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Utilize various pneumatic and power tools.
Essential Skills- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience in aerospace and/or automotive industry.
- Familiarity with design controls and AS9100 requirements.
- Hands-on experience using shop tools and calibrated tooling including torque wrenches, crimping, and striping tools.
- Understanding of aircraft safety, tool control, FOD, and industry standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment with adaptability to changing priorities.
- Ability to distinguish colors (not colorblind).

Work Environment
The position is 100 onsite at a new facility in Covington, GA. The facility is climate-controlled and very clean. Must be open to 1st or 2nd shift.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
