Manages the Modification Work Order team. Responsible for coordinating work assignments, tracking incoming aircraft and required modifications, and coordinating with internal and external production control offices for work outside of the passback hangar. Coordinates with AAMD to manage aircraft configuration and tracking. Oversees production to ensure compliance with procedures and applicable government regulations. Monitors the recommendations of corrective action where necessary and develop red line revisions. Interacting daily with internal/external customers.
Responsibilities
- Directs the Modification Work Order (MWO) process and tracking MWOs in aircraft historical records, ACN, and HYDRA.
- Works daily with customer-based software such as ACN, GCSS-Army, ULLSA-E, or HYDRA.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Candidate needs to understand military standards, service guidance requirements, and have experience coordinating, planning, preparing and executing aircraft modifications
- Ability to understand program requirements and priorities in real-time and direct the appropriate resources to the required tasks to ensure critical path schedule is maintained.
- Candidate must have demonstrated personnel leadership skills and the ability to react to rapidly changing priorities and schedules.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
- 3 years previous leadership experience in a Rotary Wing maintenance environment required.
- 6 years of aviation maintenance experience.
- Must have solid verbal and written communications skills to coordinate with both internal and external production control offices to schedule MWO installation and MWO kit shipping to off-site locations.
- Ability to determine priorities of scheduled and drop-in work.
- Common knowledge of aircraft logs and records process.
- Specific knowledge of H-60, H-6, and H-47 platforms.
- Prior SOF Community experience beneficial.
