Job Title: Maintenance Controller needed in Nashville Tennessee Job Description
As a Maintenance Controller, you will provide clear information regarding maintenance status, action plans, return to service estimates, and other technical information required by Flight Operations, Management, and Maintenance Department personnel. You will communicate directly with flight crewmembers when operational discrepancies are discovered, and gather all necessary information needed by technicians to perform prompt and effective repairs. You will utilize maintenance tracking computer systems to plan, schedule, and complete all scheduled maintenance activities within the requirements of the aircraft inspection programs.
Responsibilities
- Update the Computerized Maintenance Tracking Program with verified compliance information using audited return to service documentation.
- Update Flight Operations Software (FOS) in real-time to indicate aircraft fleet maintenance status.
- Ensure that mechanical delays are handled safely and expeditiously in accordance with the General Maintenance Manual (GMM).
- Coordinate with Flight Operations, Maintenance, and Purchasing to expedite aircraft return to service.
- Control and track all deferred maintenance items (DMI).
- Provide a point of contact and control for maintenance performed on company aircraft away from the main maintenance base by company personnel or contract maintenance.
- Perform maintenance planning, issuance, and tracking of scheduled maintenance workload.
- Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance performed on company aircraft.
Essential Skills- 5+ Years as an A&P mechanic or maintenance controller
- Airframe and Powerplant license required.
- Experience with CRJ or ERJ airframes required.
- Ability to work a varying schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, Tennessee.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41.00 - $41.00/hr.
