As a Mechanic Trainee, your responsibilities include:
- Assisting with assembly and disassembly of components
- Supporting repairs and maintenance tasks
- Aiding in subassembly testing and calibration
- Helping with test bench setup and operation
- Applying troubleshooting and practical problem-solving skills
- Performing other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent education.
- Minimum of 2 years job related training/experience is preferred.
- The ability to read and interpret manuals, technical drawings, and blueprints to determine proper operating conditions.
- The ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance.
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Excellent verbal and communication Skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a high pace environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with J-85 engines
- Some A&P certification or equivalent experience through education and hands-on training
- At least 1 year of experience in aircraft engine overhaul and repair
PAY RANGE: $20.50 - $25.00
