BAE Systems’ Mission Assessments (MA) organization is revolutionizing how mission-level operational analysis is planned, executed, and delivered. The Mission Assessments organization was created to address the rapidly increasing demand for mission-level operational analysis. Our mission is to achieve excellence in multidomain (MDO), systems-of-systems (SoS) Mission Assessments and effectively communicate the value of BAE Systems products to customers, Do leadership and the warfighter. To do this we must bring together models of advanced technologies, weapons, platforms, and threats in relevant mission simulations – and then apply our deep subject matter expertise and experience to deliver assessments that can change the world.
BAE Systems is seeking a highly motivated Study Manager (SM) to join the Mission Assessments team. The SM will lead the engineering effort for the entire program ensuring the solution meets customer programmatic and technical requirements within the allocated engineering cost and schedule.
The candidate needs to demonstrate proven execution of an engineering program through outstanding leadership and solid management skills. The SM represents the technical team to project managers, functions, and executive leadership, and provides responsibilities for developing the overall technical solution. The SM is the decision authority between the study lead and engineering team and is responsible for developing the overall technical solution for the study. The SM is expected to influence the design, development, and analysis. In addition, the SM is responsible for identifying and communicating technical risks and opportunities between the team, study leads and program management team.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100 of the time.
