As Lead Inventory Manager you will oversee, control and manage Plants inventory and turns. You will monitor stock levels, organize inventory and ensure accurate inventory records. You will also play a key role in coordinating your work with various departments and implementing strategies to minimize costs and maximize efficiency in inventory management. The position requires a combination of analytical, strategic and leadership skills to influence business decisions and ensure inventory and turns are aligned with organizational goals.Job Description
Essential Responsabilities
Oversee, control and manage plant inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels to support the various businesses
Implement action plans and strategies to optimize stock levels, maximize turnover, and minimize obsolescence and aged WIP, in collaboration with the COEs and HQ
Coordinate the periodic budget and forecast process at the plant level in accordance with company policies
Prepare periodic reports to analyze trends and discrepancies to predict future needs, identify opportunities for improvement and implement countermeasures
Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing, COEs and logistics, to ensure the smooth functioning of receiving and shipping operations, maximizing efficiency and reducing costs
Ensure accurate inventory records are maintained, using company management systems and compliance with established procedures and policies
Coordinate annual physical inventory management at the plant level, in collaboration with Finance
Lead/participate in daily management meetings at Coe and plant level, Genba walks and Kaizen events
Identify and implement process improvements using lean methodologies such as Kaizen, Standard Work, and Hoshin Kanri
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Economics field
Previous experience in material planning, manufacturing or similar roles
Knowledge of inventory planning methodologies and predictive models
Skills in data analysis and proficiency in the use of MS Office and SAP
Fluent in English and Italian
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
