STS Technical Services is hiring a Maintenance Manager in Savannah, Georgia.
Position Summary
The Maintenance Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team to deliver the highest levels of customer service in a cost-effective manner. This position requires hands-on leadership, managing both facility operations and employees while also performing the duties of a Class A Mechanic.
Candidates must have a strong knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and pneumatic systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Professionally, efficiently, and cost effectively manage and maintain the operational readiness of the terminal fleet
- Enforce and maintain safety standards, policies, practices, and procedures to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of records, files, and required documents
- Monitor the parts room to ensure adequate supply, inventory control, and replenishment of parts as needed
- Work extended hours when deadlines must be met
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Computer Knowledge

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Cummins, Solomon, and Internet/Outlook
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
- Current and valid driver’s license
- TWIC Card
- Forklift operator certification
Customer Relations Skills
This position requires regular customer interaction. Strong tact, professionalism, and communication skills are essential to success. A minimum of five years of supervisory experience is required.
