As Manager of Cash Disbursements at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing our cash disbursement processes, ensuring financial accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Your expertise in financial management and process improvement will help streamline operations and enhance productivity.
You will report directly to our Accounts Payable Director and work out of our San Luis Potosí location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact overall financial operations by developing and implementing strategies to optimize payment processes, contributing to improved financial performance. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will drive process improvements and enhance the user experience, ensuring smooth financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the Cash Disbursements team responsible for payment processing and related activities.
- Oversee vendor and customer refunds when applicable.
- Manage manual payments inside and outside SAP
Validating payments
- Conduct fraud reviews by monitoring platforms for suspicious activity and implement controls to mitigate payment risks.
- Review intercompany payment processes and ensure accuracy.
- Validating payments to ensure alignment.
- Manage stop payments and re-issues.
- Oversee payment cycle releases and perform month-end reconciliations.
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation and efficiency within disbursement processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial controls and reporting.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial operations, accounts payable, or cash disbursements.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and develop a team.
- Proven experience in process improvement and driving operational efficiencies.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Treasury tools.
- Knowledge of payment processing, fraud prevention, and reconciliation practices.
