• Support in development and implementation of strategies to reduce fuel consumption, minimize emissions, lower carbon footprint, policy formulations, Supply chain Sustainability initiatives, and cross-functional co-ordination with internal stakeholders for monthly and annual sustainability reporting.

Functional Activities

• Support in implementation of sustainability strategies to achieve sustainability goals, across the organization
• Support in implementation of Supply chain sustainability practices and strengthen the procedure with continual improvement
• Support in development and implementation of building blocks (Policies, SOPs, Materiality assessments, Risk & opportunity frameworks, ESG Data management system) on sustainability best practices required for Annual Sustainability reporting
• Stay updated on relevant ESG regulations and frameworks such as CORSIA, DGCA CAR, GRI, BRSR, IFRS S1 & S2, ReFuelEU, EU ETS, UK ETS, CDP, EPR mandates, Carbon credit mandates applicable for Aviation and ensure compliance with reporting requirements
• Deep understanding of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification and implementation process
• Support in reporting for carbon accounting, carbon offsetting, and sustainable practices will be instrumental in driving efforts to minimize the environmental impact of aviation operations
• Research and evaluate innovative technologies and practices that promote carbon reduction in aviation, such as sustainable aviation fuels, energy-efficient systems, and operational optimization

Any other additional but related responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time based on functional requirements.

Minimum Education requirements

• B.E or B. Tech degree
• MBA in related domain

Experience

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in sustainability / ESG / Environment Management / Aviation Environment

• 5+ years of relevant experience in sustainability
• Knowledge about the sustainability reporting, Climate change mitigation, decarbonization, ESG Ratings, renewal energy & aviation industry is preferred
