Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Materials Management and Transportation Manager (Level K) based out of Salt Lake City, Utah.
The Materials Management and Transportation Manager will lead a team supporting both enterprise level initiatives and implementing high visibility supply chain focused projects, develops and executes integrated organizational plans and solutions to enable business objectives. This role requires partnership with Leaders across the enterprise and an active member of the Fabrication Division (Boeing Commercial Airplane) Fulfillment team. This position will discover new opportunities and solutions for business problems by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking.
This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organizations to improve systems, business policies, processes, standard work and efficiencies to operate as One Boeing Supply Chain.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and integrate employees’ activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation
- Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals
- Acquire resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manage, develop and motivate employees
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- 5+ years of experience in supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment
- 5+ years of experience working in a role that required strong interpersonal and communication skills
- 5+ years’ experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Processes
- 3+ years of experience in managing or leading people or teams
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience with warehousing and logistics
- 5+ years of experience in managing projects
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- 5+ years of experience leading or managing process improvement projects
- 5+ years of experience in performing data analysis
- Bachelors degree or higher

Summary pay range: $101,150 - $139,230
