Synopsis
The National Partnership Manager will drive national account and indirect channel revenue growth by managing strategic relationships at head-office level, leading joint marketing and sales campaigns, strengthening Etihad’s online and indirect distribution presence across Australia and New Zealand, and delivering quality revenue, market share, PRASK, and cost-of-sale targets.
Accountabilities
Partnership, Campaign & Channel Management
- Own and manage national strategic partnerships across indirect and online channels, including joint sales and marketing campaigns.
- Develop senior relationships with partners to plan, execute, and optimise cooperative marketing initiatives that drive demand, conversion, and revenue.
- Work closely with the Australian partners commercial and marketing teams to ensure campaign alignment with Etihad brand, product positioning, and commercial (CCP) objectives.
Revenue, Commercial & Campaign Delivery
- Identify, prioritise, and pursue new business opportunities supported by targeted marketing and promotional activity.
- Lead the development, execution, and evaluation of partner-led campaigns, including e-commerce promotions, tactical offers, and seasonal initiatives.
- Maintain a national sales pipeline supported by campaign performance insights to maximise productivity and revenue delivery.
- Justify pricing and value propositions within campaigns to ensure Etihad is differentiated and not positioned as interchangeable with competitors.
Strategy, Performance & Marketing Effectiveness
- Coordinate campaign planning with regional sales planning, Revenue Management, and head-office marketing teams.
- Implement performance review processes to evaluate sales and marketing campaign effectiveness, including ROI, revenue uplift, PRASK impact, and cost of sale.
- Ensure sales account managers in online markets are informed of campaign performance, learnings, pricing outcomes, and market conditions.
Customer & Market Insight
- Translate customer, channel, and market insights into actionable marketing and campaign strategies that drive quality segment revenue.
- Provide feedback to central marketing teams on partner campaign performance, customer behaviour, and local market dynamics to inform future planning.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably with at least four years of relevant sales or commercial experience (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven experience managing national channel or partnership sales programs.
- Strong ability to build and sustain senior-level strategic partnerships.
- Excellent commercial and financial acumen with a results-driven mindset.
- Experience planning and executing joint sales and marketing campaigns within indirect, digital, or partnership channels.
- Good understanding of e-commerce, digital distribution, and promotional levers within the travel industry.
- Ability to analyse campaign performance metrics and translate insights into commercial action.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical, structured, and able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Sound judgment, decision-making capability, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of the Australian & New Zealand travel industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and sales performance reporting tools.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working flexibly.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Current Australian driver’s licence.
