OVERVIEW:
YOUR ROLE AS SENIOR MANAGER, ANCILLARY PRICING STRATEGY
Are you a data-driven strategist ready to lead impactful pricing initiatives in the airline industry? As the Senior Manager, Ancillary Pricing Strategy, you’ll play a critical role in maximizing revenue across our ancillary product portfolio—including baggage, seats, and service bundles—while enhancing the customer journey. With your expertise in pricing, analytics, and revenue management, you’ll drive innovative, customer-centric strategies and lead a high-performing team toward commercial success.
WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:
Pricing Strategy Development
Develop and implement dynamic pricing frameworks for ancillary offerings (e.g. baggage, seats, bundles).
Monitor spanet, route, and competitor data to recalibrate pricing in real-time.
Spearhead major pricing initiatives—such as segmentation-based pricing, regional strategies, and new product launches.
Revenue Optimization
Identify and execute revenue-per-passenger (RPP) growth opportunities through pricing innovation.
Analyze pricing impacts on product uptake and profitability.
Create strategies that drive ancillary product adoption across routes and channels.
Data Analysis & Insights
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Product, Marketing, Route Revenue, and Local Ancillary teams to ensure cohesive strategies.
Align with system and channel teams to ensure pricing integrity and optimize performance across platforms.
Leadership & Team Management
Lead and mentor a team of revenue analysts.
Foster a culture of continuous learning, performance excellence, and innovation.
WHO YOU ARE:
Academic & Professional Background
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Data Science or related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
8–10 years of experience in pricing, revenue management, or analytics—preferably in the airline or travel industry.
Technical & Analytical Skills
Strong command of data analytics tools (e.g. SQL, Microsoft Excel).
Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex data to influence pricing decisions.
Leadership & Communication
