Description: You will be the Senior Program Manager for Advanced Programs at Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control. Our team is responsible for leading the successful shaping, capture, and execution of development programs that enable future growth to the line of business.

As the Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Coaching and developing a team of program managers responsible for day-to-day execution of development contracts
• Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal management and external customers
• Coordinating with MFC Line of Businesses for development and transition to production initiatives
• Fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
• Supporting the director in development of program talent and driving business growth

Basic Qualifications:
U.S. citizen that holds an active secret U.S. Government security clearance
Leadership of cross-functional program teams with scope > $20M with responsibility for shaping technical, schedule and cost competitiveness
Demonstrated strong track record of executing development programs.
Demonstrated ability and experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing Program Managers
Experience establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Experience in RFI, RFP and proposal management
Experience working and foster strong partnerships with cross organization teams
Quick learner with proven ability to work multiple, high-priority tasks in parallel with strong communication skills (verbal, written) at all levels of the organization.
Strategic thinker with ability to translate strategy into action.
Some domestic travel required
Desired Skills:
Strong knowledge of and experience in Defense Acquisition including budgeting and execution
Strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
Experience with advanced weapons systems
Experience working with cross-functional teams.
Experience identifying, developing, and evaluating business cases.
Experience leading affordability initiatives

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
