Job Description

Join our dynamic assembly team to work on multiple sections, utilizing gauges, calipers, and soldering irons to build PCB boards. Your role will involve assembling circuit boards, cameras, flexes, and other sensitive electrical systems, ensuring a dust-free environment. Additionally, you will work with software uploads on smartphones, which will serve as controllers for viewing purposes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small, complex mechanical components with precision.
• Utilize soldering skills or be willing to learn soldering techniques.
• Follow assembly documentation and execute verbal/written instructions accurately.
• Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Maintain clean and orderly workstations and production areas.
• Communicate ideas and issues effectively to technicians and engineers.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in assembling small, complex mechanical components.
• Experience with soldering or willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow assembly documentation and verbal/written instructions accurately.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in workstations.
• Excellent communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in building hardware products.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing or IT.
• Nice to have: Experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) production, assembly repair/test/troubleshooting, and electromechanical assembly.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hayward, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
