Pay Rate: $20.50/hr (Machine Operator I) $22.00/hr (Machine Operator II)
About the RolePDS Tech Commercial is hiring Machine Operators (Levels I & II) to join our partner, a global leader in the aerospace industry. What You’ll DoAs a Machine Operator, you will work in a collaborative machine shop environment where accuracy and efficiency are key. Depending on your level, responsibilities may include:
Machine Operator I (Entry Level):
Assist in setting up and operating CNC machinery.
Monitor machine operations and adjust to maintain quality standards.
Inspect materials and finished parts to ensure compliance.
Learn to interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
Perform basic fabrication tasks using hand and power tools.
Use inspection tools such as calipers, pin gauges, and tape measures.
Machine Operator II (Mid-Level):
Set up and operate CNC machinery to required specifications.
Interpret and apply engineering drawings and work instructions.
Perform precision inspections using micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
Monitor production processes to ensure proper cutting and machining conditions.
Utilize shop math and basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
Support fabrication tasks using advanced hand and power tools.
What You BringRequired Qualifications (for both levels):
High School Diploma or GED.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Basic mechanical knowledge and shop math skills.
Comfort working with hand and power tools in a machine shop setting.
Basic computer skills for production tracking.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Additional Skills for Machine Operator II:
Ability to independently read and interpret engineering drawings.
Experience with precision measuring equipment.
Prior CNC machining or aerospace shop experience preferred.

Pay Details: $20.50 to $22.00 per hour
