Role Summary
* In this role, you will support manufacturing and delivery operations by developing processes, optimizing workflows, and driving continuous improvement for airplane subsystems. You’ll collaborate across teams, provide input on design reviews, and ensure production readiness and quality. Education & Job Requirements
* Education/Experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelors) and typically 5 or more years of related work experienceORan equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD, Masters +3 years of related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
* A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
* A minimum of 5+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelors degree,OR3+ years of work-related experience with a Masters Degree,ORwork-related experience with a PhD Preferred Skills
* A B.S. or higher in Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering
* Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers
* Experience with 3D model based instruction
* Experience with any of the following: IVT, CREO, CATIA, MES, Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, VisVSA, DELMIA, VisMockup, ProModel, FlexSim, 3D Printed Parts, Moonshine Shop, Maker Space, ImDev, ICIDO, Multi-Monitor Collaborative Rooms
* Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci) Job Duties/Functions
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes for airplane subsystems.
* Ensure production readiness by identifying and mitigating risks, optimizing workflows, and enhancing operational efficiency.
* Support delivery center operations by streamlining processes, improving quality, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.
* Utilize data analysis and engineering principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Participate in design reviews and provide input on manufacturability and assembly considerations.
* This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
