Engage in critical aerospace projects, including the design and assembly of military aircraft that are central to national defense. This site is pivotal in advancing aerospace technology, offering roles that support the security and effectiveness of aviation and aeronautical innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for aircraft components and assemblies.
- Develop and implement efficient production methods, tools, and procedures to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective production.
- Provide oversight, direction, root cause and corrective actions to perform work per the manufacturing engineering requirements of the specific department or functional area they are supporting.
- Collaborate with the design team to address manufacturability issues and provide solutions during the aircraft design phase.
- Provide technical support during the assembly and testing phases of aircraft manufacturing.
- Analyze and resolve production issues by working closely with production teams and quality assurance.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing and assembly problems, ensuring that products meet all technical specifications and standards.
- Develop and enforce standards for quality control, ensuring that parts and assemblies are produced to specification and meet regulatory requirements.
- Provide Root Cause and Corrective Action floor support resolving issues that impact safety, cost, quality, and schedule.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 15+ years in Manufacturing Engineering within an Aircraft or Aerospace environment.
- Preferred Experience: Familiarity with the company and processes.
