Arconic is currently in search of Metallurgical Engineer Intern to join our Manufacturing, Technology & Engineering Team based in our Rolled Product North American Location of Davenport, Iowa for Summer 2026.

About the Program:
Arconic’s Internship Program offers students the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge to real-world challenges that drive value for our business. This hands-on, minimum 10-week experience includes impactful projects across multiple business functions, allowing interns to lead at least one major initiative.
In addition to project work, interns engage in career development discussions with senior leaders and executives, participate in volunteer activities, and building strong connections through cohort-wide events that foster collaboration and camaraderie.
In this role, you will:
- Apply your classroom knowledge to solve business problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on impactful projects.
- Learn from some of the best in the manufacturing industry
- Develop presentation for leadership on your project(s) and findings.
Also note:
- This is a paid internship. As an intern, you may also be eligible for a housing stipend if you qualify (based on distance).
- Interns are required to have a reliable way to get to and from work (their own vehicle, carpooling, public transportation).
You have: (required)
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Metallurgical, Material Science, or Chemical Engineering degree program.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Authorizations from the relevant government agency may be required to meet export control compliance requirements.

- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in team settings.
- Passion for innovation and continuous learning.
- Previous work or internship experience in manufacturing setting
- Expected graduation date of December 2026, or Spring 2027.
