Job Description

As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will perform heavy maintenance checks on Q400 and ATR 172 aircraft. Your role is crucial in ensuring the safety and functionality of aircraft through detailed inspections and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy maintenance checks on Q400 and ATR 172 aircraft.
• Troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems.
• Conduct installations and modifications as required.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance work.

Essential Skills

• AME M2 License
• Experience with DHC 800 and/or ATR aircraft
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, aircraft maintenance, and repair
• Experience with aircraft modification, repair, and installation
• DHC 300 Endorsement

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in line maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Proficient in heavy check (I/C) procedures

Work Environment

The role is based in a hangar shop floor environment at YEG airport. It is a team-based operation where collaboration is key. The schedule is flexible, allowing you to work any day from Monday to Saturday, between 7am and 7pm, for 8-10 hours of your choosing.
