Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Perform breakout and tool prep operations on composite parts and tools after curing process.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works under the guidance of lead to perform breakout and tool prep operations per schedule.
Prep tools with releasing agent and uses knifes and scrappers to remove any debris left from previous part. Stage tool for layup operations.
Removed tools and parts from oven after curing process is complete.
Removes all bagging material from part and tool and removes part form tool with use of basic hand tools such as shim and hammer.
Delivers and stages parts in next operation area.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification and Textron Aviation’s blueprint reading class preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
6 months of composites or related experience.
Working Conditions:
Somewhat disagreeable working conditions with exposure to dust, noise, heat, fumes and liquids. Safety shoes and protective clothing could be required.
