Position SummaryThe Executive – Investigation & Intelligence is responsible for leading and executing in-depth investigations into security breaches, incidents, and other critical matters that may impact the organization. This role ensures all investigative activities are carried out with utmost professionalism, integrity, and in full compliance with legal requirements, MAG policies, and industry best practices. The Executive is also responsible for gathering, analyzing, and disseminating intelligence related to emerging threats that could affect MAG’s operations. This includes proactive monitoring of global and local security trends, assessing potential risks, and delivering timely, actionable insights to enhance the organization’s overall security posture and protect its people, assets, and interests.
Key Accountabilities- Collect and analyze intelligence from diverse sources, including open-source information, human intelligence, and technological platforms, to identif potential threats to the Malaysia Airlines Group (MAG).
- Utilize advanced technological tools and platforms to monitor trends, assess risks and provide strategic insights.
- Prepare and disseminate intelligence reports, briefings and alerts to relevant stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timeliness in all communications.
- Support incident response with real-time analysis during crises.
- Ensure all intelligence and investigation activities comply with legal obligations, MAG’s internal policies, and industry standards for security and data protection.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to enhance coordination and information sharing.
- Prepare comprehensive investigation reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective actions, presenting outcomes to senior management and other key stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
- Recommend improvements to investigative processes and security protocols, drawing on lessons learned and feedback from past incidents.
- Conduct regular reviews of investigation and intelligence practices to identify areas for enhancement and implement refinements to strengthen MAG’s overall security posture.
- Monitor ongoing compliance with security protocols and regulations, proactively identifying risks and recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
Qualifications and Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Law, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred
- Minimum 5 years of aviation security experience in investigation, intelligence, and profiling, with proven leadership in managing security teams.
