The Advisor is responsible for coordinating activities and providing advice related to the Official Languages, Employment Equity and Accessibility Programs (Legislated Programs) at NAV CANADA. The Advisor will assist in the development and implementation of plans and goals. The Advisor is responsible for developing training and other initiatives to promote understanding and compliance with policies and legislation.Job Description

In this role you will:
- Develop training frameworks, conduct needs assessments, monitor participant progression and ensure continuous improvement.
- Coordinate activities related to the achievement of Legislated Programs plans. This includes communicating with a variety of internal subject matter experts and stakeholders.
- Conduct research and stay current on best practices related to Legislated Programs and provide guidance on their application within the organization.
- Provide coaching and advice to managers and employees on Legislated Programs matters.
- Collaborate with other Human Resources teams to ensure consistent application of policies and programs.
- Liaise with external organizations and agencies related to Legislated Programs
- Maintain and update online content ensuring content is relevant, engaging and complies with internal governance.
- Advise on HR systems requirements related to Legislated Programs.
What you bring:
- College diploma in a related area or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- Minimum 2 years’ of experience providing advice to employees and managers and providing coordination for a variety of programs
- Experience in the development and delivery of training courses
- Experience implementing, tracking and evaluating programs, plans, initiatives and activities
- Knowledge of Official Languages, Accessibility and Employment Equity legislation
- Knowledge of change management principles
- Ability to work in both official languages (French and English), both orally and in writing.
