Job Title: Aircraft PainterJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Aircraft Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will interpret engineering drawings, properly prepare aircraft surfaces, and apply chemical treatments and paint with precision. This role requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities- Interpret engineering drawings to identify tasks required for preparing and painting aircraft surfaces.
- Apply safety absorbent to the hangar floor and use chemical stripper to remove existing paint from aircraft.
- Assist with moving aircraft into proper positions and perform unmasking and re‑masking to protect windows and other sensitive components.
- Remove stripper, excess paint, and contaminants using water, solvents, air blowers, and brushes.
- Sand, grind, and polish aircraft surfaces; apply putty to dents; and replace sealer in preparation for primer and paint application.
Essential Skills- 5 years of painting experience, including a combination of aircraft and automotive painting.
- Proficiency in painting, aviation paint preparation, spray gun operation, sanding, and surface repair.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience working on corporate jets.

- Monday–Friday shifts:
- 6:42 AM – 3:12 PM, or
- 3:12 PM – 11:42 PM
- Dress Code: Casual (jeans, t‑shirt, tennis shoes).
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
