Responsibilities:Implement national, regional and local strategies to customers and support Cargo Sales Managers to achieve cargo sales targetsProvide strategic product support to Cargo Sales ManagersAct as primary interface between Air Canada and UK freight forwardersAssume ownership for developing a business relationship between Air Canada and Air Canada customer baseProvide commercial support, analytical support & knowledge of the customer base to the Regional Sales Managers, Local Sales Managers and GSAsSupport the Regional Sales Managers, Local Sales Managers and GSAs reviewing current spanet conditions, pricing and capacityAct as a key liaison between the Regional Sales Managers, Local Sales Managers and GSAs, regional sales, capacity & spanetingConduct regular customer account performance reviewsWork with Sales Development & Capacity Management team to identify revenue opportunities with accounts and jointly develop a strategy plan to mutually increase profitabilityAchieve revenue and spanet share improvement targetsProvide regular updates to internal Departments to align Sales and Operational strategiesAssist with all sales and spaneting plans relating to regional developmentSpot Rate, Exception Contract, Local Pricing, RFQ and Allocation ManagementAction accounting discrepancies, in conjunction with Cargo accounts
QualificationsStrong understanding of the cargo business with commercial sales experienceHighly developed interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsDemonstrated leadership and decision making abilitiesStrong negotiating skillsResults orientedExceptional planning and organization skillsAbility to build strong relationships with both internal and external customersVery analytical skills in dealing with data and general industry informationProven time management and prioritization skillsAbility to cope with irregular or multiple work demandsMust be receptive to flexible work hours and some travel expectationsProficiency with PC Window applications such as Word, Excel and Power PointSalesforce KnowledgeUndergraduate business degree an assetRight to live and work in UK unrestricted
